Fire Prevention

To reduce the risk of fire the following procedures should be followed.

• Protect the backing sheet of the solar panel.
• Two men to handle and move solar panels.
• Use correct crimping tools.
• Check tightness to Isolator connections.
• Separate Positive and Negative DC cables.
• Switch ON Arc fault setting on the inverter.
• Use Arc boxes on MC4 connections.
• Rapid shutdown.
